Welcome to Desert Safari Sharjah. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and use of our services. By reserving a tour with us, you agree to follow the rules and policies outlined below. They are designed to ensure your safety, protect your rights, and give you a smooth booking experience. Please take a moment to read them carefully before confirming your trip.

Booking and Confirmation

When you book a desert safari with us, your reservation will only be confirmed after you receive a written confirmation by email, WhatsApp, or another official communication channel. We encourage all guests to book in advance, as availability is limited during weekends and peak seasons. Once your booking is confirmed, the details of your tour including time, date, and pickup point will be shared with you.

Important booking notes:

• Reservations can be made online, via WhatsApp, or through our authorized partners.
• Confirmation is subject to availability and receipt of your booking request.
• Last-minute bookings may be accepted but cannot be guaranteed.

Payment Policy

All payments must be settled before or at the start of your tour to ensure a smooth experience. Prices are listed in AED (UAE Dirhams) unless otherwise stated, and the final payment method will be agreed upon at the time of booking. You may choose to pay online, via bank transfer, or in cash upon pickup (if applicable).

Payment guidelines:

• Full payment must be completed before the tour begins.
• Deposits (if applicable) are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
• Group bookings may require advance payment to confirm slots.

Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that plans may change, so we have a flexible cancellation policy to make things easier for our guests. If you wish to cancel, kindly notify us as early as possible. Refunds are issued according to the timing of your cancellation and the conditions listed below.

Refund policy:

• Cancellations one day before the tour date: 100% refund.
• Cancellations on the same day of the tour: 50% refund.
• No-shows or cancellations after pickup: no refund.
• If we cancel the tour due to weather or safety concerns, full refund or a rescheduling option.

Safety and Responsibility

Your safety is our number one priority. Every guest will receive a detailed briefing before the tour and will be provided with seatbelts and any required safety gear. Guests are expected to follow the instructions of our guides and drivers at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable desert adventure.

Key safety rules:

• All activities (dune bashing, camel riding, sandboarding, and quad biking) are conducted under the supervision of trained staff.
• Guests with back problems, heart conditions, or who are pregnant should inform us before booking and may need to avoid certain activities.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the tour.
• Reckless behavior or ignoring guide instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, participation in desert safari activities is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for injuries, loss, or damage caused by failure to follow instructions or personal negligence. Guests are also advised to keep personal belongings safe, as we are not liable for theft or damage during the tour.

Please note:

• We do not provide personal accident or health insurance unless mentioned in your package.
• Guests are encouraged to arrange their own travel insurance for extra protection.

Tour Modifications

Tours may sometimes be adjusted for reasons beyond our control, such as weather conditions, safety measures, or operational requirements. In such cases, we will provide suitable alternatives to ensure that you still enjoy your adventure without compromise.

Possible modifications:

• Route or activity changes due to unsafe desert conditions.
• Rescheduling in case of sandstorms or heavy rain.
• Replacement of vehicles or activities with equal or better alternatives.

Guest Conduct

We expect all guests to behave respectfully towards staff, guides, and fellow tourists during the trip. Misconduct or reckless behavior may lead to removal from the tour without any refund. Please also remember that alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited during the tour.

Guest conduct rules:

• Respect local customs and cultural values.
• Follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
• Avoid littering or damaging the natural desert environment.

Photography and Media

Photography is a big part of the desert safari experience. While you are welcome to capture personal photos and videos, please be aware that we may also take pictures during the tour for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in any marketing material, kindly inform us in advance.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes or claims arising from our services will be handled under UAE jurisdiction.
